A good thing happened this last week, as we were off work. We decided after several years of procrastination to update our kitchen. It is amazing what a fresh coat of paint and some new drapes can do.
We decided to have our first dinner in the newly renovated kitchen with dear friends who could not make if for new years eve. They arrived with the beautiful tulips and a bottle of champagne that we did not get to indulge in at New Years...Better late than never....
